Quando Starcraft foi lançado em 1998 ele não era tão famoso quanto hoje e por isso a Blizzard criava vários mapas especiais para animar os jogadores e um deles foi o mapa especial de natal. O mapa chamava-se "12 Days of Starcraft" e a música de fundo do mapa era uma versão de "12 Days of Christmas" com uma letra diferente e com os personagens do jogo cantando.
